[26 Dec 2009|02:15am] hitomimudo Merry Christmas all!!! Hope you guys had a fun and wonderful Christmas. So random thing before I get onto my post. My friend posted this on his Facebook: finds it funny, that upon getting older and wiser than he once was, he realizes that holidays seem to be nothing but an excuse for family and old friends to get together. It's a shame that he doesn't really care much for either of those things. I find this statement to be...I don't know. Not offensive, but...very...I don't know the word. Odd, strange, confusing. To me, the holidays are all about family. That's what I love about them. I get to go home, see my family, hang out with them and have a good time! Then again, this is a guy who still lives at home. Even then... But yeah, today was fun! Went home, saw my family, watched He Just Isn't In To You (cute chick flick) and generally had a good time! Opened presents, had a yummy dinner, and yummy cookies. Presents list: Many of them sound boring, but the boring things I actually asked for Cookie sheets (Asked for them, I am a baker and only had one cookie sheet. Not good for rotating cookies in and out of the oven) Bed sheets (again, asked for them. I don't have many bed sheets and they can get quite expensive) Earrings Gag earrings (gigantic hamburgers, ahh I love you mom) Home made Advent calendar (Finally!! My mom makes these wonderful advent calendars and she finally finished mine, two years later) A puzzle (I am a puzzle freak, and most of my puzzles have been destroyed over the years. I need to build up my collection again) A gift certificate from Barnes and Noble (because my brother is not stepping anywhere near the Manga section) Mixing bowls (again, baker!) Shirts, including a Sabres shirt <3 and money from the grandmother. Not much, but who cares? I love all of it! Not much else to say, so I am going to run off, munch on cookies, wait for the small fever to go away, and watch CSI. post comment

[24 Dec 2009|12:02pm] hitomimudo Ugh, I don't feel good! And of course I have to close the store today. I work 2-10 today. Why must I get sick near Christmas? I rented the new Mario for the Wii, since I still have my sister's Wii (Getting close to three months now^.^). Kick ass game. Lacey and I had so much fun playing it. Upgraded my fish tank to a twenty gallon. Yey! And um..that's about it for news. post comment
